Which races are covered
Every Greenville voter sees
the statewide races: Governor, U.S. Senate, Attorney General,
Secretary of State, State Treasurer, Comptroller General,
Superintendent of Education, and Commissioner of Agriculture, plus
the countywide offices: Solicitor, Probate Judge, Auditor, and County
Treasurer. Then, based on your address, the races specific to your
district: U.S. House of Representatives, S.C. State House, Greenville
County Council, and Greenville County Schools trustee. You’ll
also see the county sales-tax questions, plus your city’s
question if you live inside the City of Greenville, Mauldin,
Simpsonville, or Travelers Rest city limits.
Your ballot may also include soil & water or special-district seats (fire, watershed, or public service districts) that this tool doesn't list. Check your

Frequently asked questions
How does the general election ballot work?
On November 3, every voter gets the same ballot regardless of party. Each race lists every party's nominee, plus any minor-party candidates, and you can vote for whichever candidate you like in each race. Every race also has a write-in line, even when a candidate is running unopposed. There's no party ballot to choose, so this tool shows everyone on your ballot.
Can I vote straight party?
Yes, if you want to. Your ballot starts by asking whether you want to vote "straight party." It's optional. Choosing a party fills in that party's candidates, and you can still pick someone else in any individual race. Straight party doesn't mark nonpartisan offices or ballot questions, so mark those separately.
When and where can I vote?
Early voting runs Monday, October 19 through Saturday, October 31, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, at any of Greenville County's 7 early-voting sites. Closed Sunday, October 25. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at your assigned polling place, which this tool shows after you enter your address. If you're in line by 7:00 p.m., you can vote. Bring a photo ID: an SC driver's license, SC DMV ID card, SC voter registration card with photo, federal military ID, or U.S. passport.

Can I vote absentee by mail?
Only if you qualify, for example if you're 65 or older, have a disability, or will be out of the county. Your application must be received by Friday, October 23, at 5:00 p.m., and your completed ballot, which needs a witness signature, must be received by the county by 7:00 p.m. on November 3. The SC Election Commission suggests mailing it back at least a week before Election Day. Questions? Call the Greenville County elections office at 864-467-7264.
Can I still register to vote for November 3?
Not for this election. The registration deadlines passed in early October: October 2 in person, October 4 online, and October 5 for mail (postmark).

Where does the data come from?
The candidate list comes from official South Carolina Election Commission records. Ballot questions come from Greenville County's official notices. Your districts come from Greenville County GIS.
